Mission Statement:

To assist our guests in taking in all of the wonderful things that Superior’s South Shore has to offer, while creating an environment that makes it easy to relax and enjoy each other's company. 

About Us:

We welcome you to share the beauty, tranquility and 'spot to retreat' that is dear to us!  We have lived in the area for the past 20 years -- originally growing up in southern Minnesota.  Our home is in Iron River (17 miles south of Port Wing).  We have always loved the Port Wing beaches and the attraction of the town.  One of Jane's fondest memories is of her annual hike from the Marina to the point in late August before her family returned to Mankato (Minnesota) for school at the end of summer vacation. 

Several years ago we couldn't  'hold out' any longer for our own place in Port Wing -- and bought the Stone Haus'.  We use the Stone Haus' for a retreat for ourselves, our children/ grand children and friends.  At other times, the Stone Haus' is available for you to enjoy too -- we hope you will experience the delight that we enjoy by being in Port Wing and traveling the south shore of Wisconsin.

Whether you are looking to relax and have a quiet weekend, or you are looking to peddle, paddle or power your way to some exhilerating stress relief...  our goal is to provide you with a hassle free, comfortable, clean and unique lodging experience.  We hope you consider the STONE HAUS' for any occassion you are traveling to Superior's South Shore.  A weekend getway with your  girlfriends, a week of charter fishing with the guys, or just a night or two with that special someone!
